Junction is Goole’s arts centre – a busy, welcoming space where creativity and community come together.
We’re here to bring brilliant performance, participation and provocation to our town – from great nights out to hands-on experiences. Our programme includes theatre, music, comedy, film, workshops, festivals and family events. You’ll find artists from across the UK and around the world here, performing alongside homegrown talent and local groups.
We’re also a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England, with a mission to make sure culture and creativity thrive in Goole and the surrounding area.
Our purpose-built venue includes a 165-seat auditorium, flexible workshop and rehearsal spaces, and a café-bar. Whether you’re here for a show, a meeting, a class or just a coffee, Junction is a space for everyone.
Some people think arts centres aren’t for them. At Junction, we’re out to prove otherwise – with brilliant events, affordable tickets and a space where everyone’s welcome.
What is an arts centre?
An arts centre is a space where people come together to create, experience and enjoy the arts — whether that’s live performance, music, film, workshops or community events.
At Junction, that means we’re not just a theatre or a cinema or a community hub — we’re all three… and more!
We’re here to support creativity in all its forms: to bring nationally recognised work to Goole, to champion local talent, and to make space for people to get involved, have fun, and feel part of something.
We’re proud to be part of a national network of arts centres working at the heart of communities across the UK.
