Nowhere Boy charts the former years of John Lennon, through his time being raised by his sensible and respectable Aunt Mimi, his reunion with his mother and his discovery of Rock ’n’ Roll. As tensions mount between his aunt and his mother, Lennon finds himself in the middle of a battle for his affections, escaping into his music and later meeting new friend and kindred spirit, Paul McCartney.
