Innovative director Spike Jonze brings one of the most beloved books of all time to the big screen. The film tells the story of Max, a sensitive young boy, who feels misunderstood at home and escapes to where the Wild Things are. Max finds himself on a strange island, where he meets mysterious and unusual creatures, and becomes an unlikely leader for a very complicated species.
