Snake Davis is known throughout the music industry as a sax virtuoso and is famous for his rousing riffs and haunting melodies. He has performed for The Eurythmics, McCartney and Calvin Harris to name but a few.

Some years ago he started dreaming of a totally new sound, a pure, raw, beautiful mix of sax with strings only. Much scheming, arranging, experimenting, auditioning and demo-ing followed until four perfect players were located whose credentials included performances with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Opera North, Pet Shop Boys and more.

SnakeStrings perform a mix of soul, classical, jazz, funk and world music, all with a Snakey twist. Expect tunes ranging from ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ and ‘A Little Respect’ to self-penned numbers and classics from Albinoni, Faure and Bach.
