The inspiring true love story of Robin and Diana Cavendish, an adventurous couple who refuse to give up in the face of a devastating disease. After contracting polio at the age of 28, Robin was paralysed from the neck down, reliant upon a respirator and given only months to live. Against the advice of doctors Robin left the confines of hospital, and with the help of inventor Teddy Hall, developed a wheelchair with a built-in respirator that would provide him – and others suffering from the effects of polio – with mobility. Robin and Diana would go on to raise their son together and devote their lives to improving the lives of polio patients.
