Zoë Curlett

Much sought after and highly acclaimed soprano. Zoë Curlett has played leading roles in West End productions such as The Phantom of The Opera and Les Misérables. She has performed in the Classical Brits at the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Variety Performance at The London Palladium. Zoë sang with both the London Symphony Orchestra and the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra as a soloist and was invited to perform in a gala performance for Queen Elizabeth II at the Liverpool Empire. Zoë’s leading performance in Carousel with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, can be heard on BBC radio. She can be seen in the 25th Anniversary production of Les Misérables at the O2 and also heard on its soundtrack for the Oscar winning film version. Adept at any musical style from jazz to opera, Zoe has sung all over the world – and we’re delighted to have her support in this local production.

Yorkshire Wolds Versatile Brass

A “compact” (5-piece) versatile brass ensemble with the prime objective of providing first-class musical entertainment to local communities in local venues. Their name was chosen as members lived either end and en route along the Yorkshire Wolds Way, and the group rehearse in the heart of North Yorkshire. The choice of the word “Versatile” is very deliberate, it describes the group’s attitude towards the style of music (classical, jazz, popular, rock.), concert types and other special projects undertaken. Members of the ensemble have played with some of the top brass bands and orchestras in the UK and all are established soloists in their own right. Individually they have played all over the world and performed in some of the top venues (including over 20 Royal Albert Hall performances).
