Goole On Film (U)

After the huge success of their January screenings Goole Civic Society invite you once more to a showcase of historic films of Goole.

Sourced from several collections, including the Yorkshire Film Archive and Pathe News collection, the event will showcase a series of films featuring Goole from the 1920s through to the 1980s.

The event will also include the two specially commissioned projects for Goole’s bicentenary year:

• A recording of Advance! Goole – Goole’s Centenary Song – sung by The Warblers.
• An Aerial History of the Knottingley & Goole Canal
