Join Goole Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Society as they tread the boards of 120 years of Musical Theatre performance history in our port town…
Founded in 1906. Goole Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (GAODS) celebrate 120 years in the only way they how – by putting together a musical trip down memory lane.
From wondering How Do You Solve a Problem like Maria? to declaring This Is Me, these songs capture the laughter, drama and magic that have filled their stages for over a century.
You might hear echoes of Three Little Maids, take a stroll On The Street Where You Live, or find yourself humming along to I Got Rhythm and Put on your Sunday Clothes.
There are big emotions in One Day More and You Will Be Found, a touch of nostalgia in Sunrise, Sunset and plenty more with fun along the way.
The company have been working with a professional choreographer and international singer/singwriter to bring you this evening of joy and nostalgia.
This joyful mix celebrates the shows, the people, and the passion that have made GAODS what it is for the past 120 years – and counting!
