Story Trails

A Dragon’s Hoard

What is a dragon’s hoard anyway? Gold? Jewels? Or something even more precious…

Derek the Dragon has been left to look after the dragon eggs. It’s his responsibility. There’s only one problem… Derek isn’t very responsible and the whole hoard of eggs is missing! A Dragon’s Hoard takes the audience on an adventure through the enchanted world to find and save the missing eggs. On the way we meet a talkative bird, a helpful goblin and frightful kelpies! And we learn that the families we find are just as important as the families we are born into.

This is an interactive show that invites the audience to join in with the story, adding their ideas, searching for the eggs and even becoming characters through fun, paper-bag puppets. The show uses music, bubbles and other sensory elements, encouraging children and their grown-ups to play.
