enjoy creating with clay.
In these sessions, you will enjoy working with clay by making a bowl or a planter and then painting it. Each person will be making a knee pot (a fun technique working with soft clay forming it over your knee) then will put legs on it to turn it into a planter or bowl with help from ceramic’s expert Rachel Byass.
You will be provided with embossing tools to use (or you can hand paint a design on it) to make it uniquely your own. You can also choose from 19 bright colours that will go directly onto your work, so you don’t need a return visit.
Your item will be glazed and fired for you after the workshop, making it true functional pottery which will be ready for you to pick up and take home the following week.
Rachel Byass Ceramics was opened as a Pottery/Ceramics in 1983 in Pontefract, West Yorkshire by owner Rachel Byass.
