Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, this lively event promises a fantastic time for everyone.

The Polka Dots Barn Dance Band will bring the floor to life with their lively tunes, featuring a mix of traditional music from England, Scotland, Ireland, America, and France. With dance caller Janet Porter leading the way, keyboardist Nigel Swan, and melodeon player Roy Hardacre, you’ll be in great hands as you learn and enjoy a variety of fun dances.

Throughout the afternoon, Janet will guide you through classic dances like the Boston Two Step and Gay Gordons, lively set dances such as the Virginia Reel and Bridge of Athlone, plus fun square dances like the Cumberland Square Eight.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a partner – just bring your enthusiasm and we’ll match you with a friendly group to get you dancing. And it’s not all about the dancing! We’ll also be serving a delicious lunch to keep you fuelled and ready for more fun. Come along for a memorable afternoon of dancing, music, and great company.
