Electric Pedals: The Greatest Showman (PG)

Junction Goole is teaming up with Electric Pedals for a series of three open-air film screenings with a twist. Enjoy the magic of the movies whilst immersing yourself in a one-of-a-kind experience.

The outdoor screenings are pedal-powered. For those who can – help us power up the cinema by joining with others to cycle. For those who can’t – sit back and enjoy!

Pack your chairs and blankets and prepare for a picturesque evening as the sun sets.

Local pop-up food and drink vendors will be onsite so you can enjoy a snack whilst supporting our local businesses.

Arrive from 6.30pm and the film will start shortly after sunset.

Gates open 6.30pm, film starts after sun set, approx. 7.30pm

Step right up… and into the spellbinding imagination of a man who set out to reveal that life itself can be the most thrilling show of all.

Inspired by the legend and ambitions of America’s original pop-culture impresario, P.T. Barnum (Hugh Jackman), comes an inspirational rags-to-riches tale of a brash dreamer who rose from nothing to prove that anything you can envision is possible and that everyone, no matter how invisible, has a stupendous story worthy of a world-class spectacle.

Hugh Jackman leads an all-star cast in this bold and original musical filled with infectious showstopping performances that will bring you to your feet time and time again. Also starring Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson and Zendaya.

FAQs

Are children allowed?

Yes! This is a family friendly event, children are allowed. However, please note that both Barbie and Bohemian Rhapsody are rated 12A. This means any children younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18+) or they will not be allowed in. The content of these films may not be appropriate for children under 12.

Do I have to cycle?

Of course not! Each film requires around 18 cyclists. If you don’t want to cycle that’s absolutely fine. For those who do – you can cycle for a few minutes or the entire film, whatever suits you! On busier events, we may not be able to accommodate everyone who wants to cycle.

Is free parking available?

Yes. Both sites have parking available. At West Park this is on the car park accessed by Park Avenue/Shaftesbury Avenue. At Howden AFC we will be using the car park next door to the site, just a short walk. Both car parks are free. Please be considerate of those who live nearby and do not block on-street parking or driveways.
