Goole of Rock

Goole of Rock & Friends

Join us for Goole Of Rock’s annual show.

Goole of Rock (formerly Junction Teen Music) have been rehearsing every Wednesday evening since the beginning of the year, in preparation to bring you hits from bands like Fleetwood Mac, The Goo Goo Dolls, and The Courteeners in a full-size standing gig in Junction’s auditorium.

Interspersed between the acts will be moments of video from members of Junction’s Teen Music groups both current and previous, talking about their experience over the years, as well as showing where they are now since maturing from the group.

Also expect to hear a selection of original tunes from the performers over the course of the evening.

Goole of Rock Members

KUB consists of 4 members from Goole of Rock (Owen Forrest, Robbie Yates, Isaac Bristow and Jack Holloway), who have formed their own band to focus on punchy rock songs, with influences of psychedelia from artists like Tame Impala, as well as more introspective bands like Modern Baseball.

Last Minute

Anya Linksey, Jessie Millar, Evie Brown and Millie Worth bring Last Minute to the roster. They’ve used their influences from artists like The Cranberries, to bring together a harmony of vocals and guitars that pays tribute to their time together at Goole of Rock.

Accompanying them are Josh Bryars and Ava Jackson, a piano and vocalist duo bringing you a stripped back version of ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’ Oasis, in an ode to the rock ballads they grew up with.

Joining Goole of Rock, are 3 other young, local artists;
Scarlet Howard:

Scarlet Howard is an up and coming singer/songwriter who works closely with Freedom Road Creative Arts. She started her career last year at Goole of Rock & Friends, and has since gone on to perform at events like Humber Street Sesh and Let’s Rock! at Bridlington Spa. She sings covers as well as her own original material, inspired by artists such as First Aid Kit, Taylor Swift, and Noah Kahn and is looking to develop more of this very soon. She’ll be performing songs by Chappell Roan and Lucy Dacus, as well as two of her own originals; “Love Me Like You Did”, and “The Ballad Of Lucy Grey Bird”.

Cameron Hindle:

Cameron Hindle has been performing in bands for the past couple of years, including at Junction’s Quintenary event last summer. Since then he has taken to performing more as a singer/songwriter, including writing some of this own material.

Counterproductive are a band formed at Goole High School. Consisting of Josh Bryars, Milo Durant, Evan Lattimore, Lily Jackson, and Sonya Szczepocka, this 5-piece rock outfit are excited to bring their music to a brand new audience.
