Dandy and Pansy are our resident dancing flowers! Pansy loves the rain, sunshine and jumping in muddy puddles. Dandy doesn’t like the rain, she prefers to hide in the flower beds. Would you like to play a game in the garden with us?
Our gardeners are patiently waiting for the rain to fall, it has been weeks since they’ve seen their pals Dandy and Pansy – will the flowers come back to dance in the rain? Explore the garden grounds with our team of friendly gardeners, ready to give you the guided tour. Step inside the greenhouse to create soundscapes or play garden games by the koi pond – the garden is full of life and activity!
Garden visitors are welcome to explore the space in their own time, led by their own curiosities. The space has been designed with neurodiverse audiences in mind, however the space is open to anyone to attend.
Practitioners in the space use Makaton signs and symbols, so the Gardens are friendly to Deaf and/or hard of hearing audience members.

This interactive sensory space invites audiences to explore accessible technology, touch sensory props, smells and stories. Audiences will meet our resident dancing flowers, who offer opportunities for play and storytelling!
