Dandy and Pansy are resident dancing flowers!
Pansy loves the snow, sunshine and jumping in the wintery garden. Dandy doesn’t like the snow, she much prefers to hide in the flower beds. Would you like to play a game in the garden with them?
The gardeners are patiently waiting for the snow to fall, it has been weeks since they’ve seen their pals Dandy and Pansy – will the flowers come back to dance in the snow? Explore the garden grounds with the team of friendly gardeners, ready to give you the guided tour. Step inside the greenhouse to create soundscapes or play garden games by the koi pond – the garden is full of life and activity!
This interactive sensory space invites audiences to explore accessible technology, touch sensory props, smells and stories. You will meet the resident dancing flowers, who offer opportunities for play and storytelling! Garden visitors are welcome to explore the space in their own time, led by their own curiosities. The space has been designed with neurodiverse audiences in mind, however the space is open to anyone to attend.
This project has been kindly supported by Junction Goole, Arts Council England, & The People’s Postcode Trust.
