Matt Ford: From Broadway to Hollywood the Cole Porter Songbook

A regular at the Royal Albert Hall as part of BBC Proms (alongside the John Wilson Orchestra) orchestra, the incredible Matt Ford, alongside a world-class group of musicians, presents an intimate celebration of Cole Porter’s timeless catalogue of music. From the sultry melodies of Night and Day to the playful rhythms of Anything Goes.

Matt has featured in four BBC Proms concerts (2011, 2013, 2016 & 2019), with live broadcasts of these on BBC Two, BBC Four and BBC Radio 3.  Other TV and radio credits include; Friday Night is Music Night (tributes to Irving Berlin, The Gershwins, Alan J Lerner & Gene Kelly), BBC Big Band Special (30^th Anniversary Special), SKY Arts 1 & 2 (Cole Porter in Hollywood & 100 Years of Big Bands), BBC Four (The Sound of Song), BBC One (The One Show), ITV (Titchmarsh) and BBC Radio 3 (In Tune).

The concert will feature some of the most iconic songs of the Twentieth Century, including: I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Night & Day, Too Darn Hot, I Get A Kick Out of You, In The Still of the Night, Anything Goes… and much more.
