A documentary by Harvey Marcus

Paris 75 (12A)

The European Cup Final Football Tried To Forget.

A film about that season, that match, and the fans who forged the identity of Leeds United.

Told by players and supporters, with rare and never-before-seen cine footage, Paris 75 relives the infamous European Cup Final of 1975 – the night Leeds United were robbed of glory against Bayern Munich. A night that still echoes from the terraces today in the chant: “We are the Champions, Champions of Europe.”

But this is more than just a football documentary. It’s the story of an era – when away days abroad were a rarity, female fans were few, and hooliganism was rife. It’s the story of the end of Leeds United’s greatest side, and the injustice that gave a club, its supporters, and a city an enduring identity.

For Leeds fans, it’s not just history. It’s who we are.
