A practical twilight session for KS1 teachers looking to strengthen their confidence, refresh their approach, and take away practical ideas for teaching the music curriculum in the classroom.
The session will explore how a live music storytelling concert can be extended into meaningful classroom practice. Teachers will be introduced to a rich set of ready-to-use resources, including songs, activities, videos and audio examples, designed to be easily adapted for different classroom settings. The session will focus on confidence-building, musical play, and helping children experience music as something they do, not just listen to.
Resources can be viewed/downloaded via the Music in the Round resource hub, click here to be directed to their website.
The training is open to all teachers and educators, whether or not they are attending the concert. We recognise that, for some schools, booking the concert may not be possible. However, participation alongside the concert will significantly enhance the quality and impact of the learning experience for both teachers and pupils.
