Cool FX Studio & KPOP Legends (9-12 Years)

Join us for day one of Junction Goole’s Cool & Calm Summer!

In the morning when you arrive, we’ll have some breakfast items available to give you lots of energy for the day ahead, before jumping right in!

Using your creative brain waves, you will write a short and wonderfully wacky radio play and bring it to life with cool, weird and surprising sound effects. Will your story feature a daring explorer, a mischievous monster or an alien invasion? The choice is yours!

Working together, you’ll dream up characters, create exciting scenes and then become sound effect artists, using everyday objects to build an incredible audio world. From bin lids and rubber bands to combs, coconut shells and all sorts of unexpected items, you’ll discover how simple objects can create everything from thunderstorms and galloping horses to creaking doors and mysterious footsteps.

Get ready to make some noise, unleash your imagination and create a magnificent soundscape to colour the story you create.

Then in the afternoon, we’ve something really special planned. after the massive smash that was K-Pop Demon Hunters last year, kids have gone KPOP MAD! So we’re summoning the Honmoon and giving kids the opportunity learn what it takes to be a KPOP legend – and not just from Tik-Tok videos!

In this high energy workshop with professional dance and vocal practitioners, you will learn dance routines inspired by KPOP choreography and hit the high notes while singing two iconic KPOP numbers.
