Make your own lidded clay pot decorated with geometric patterns.
The village of Casira on the Argentinian and Bolivian border is known for the ancient art of it’s red mud clay pottery dating from 500 BCE. There are still over 30 potteries there today, which make the small handled and lidded pots.
In this two hour workshop, you will make your own pot with terracotta air-dry clay, and decorate with traditional Incan patterns and symbols such as the sun, birds and insects.
