The Regalettes

Thu 2 May

Badapple Theatre take us back to the 1930’s, in a new comedy play set in the cinema decade, spanning Hitchcock noir and classic Technicolour showstoppers.

Celebrity and rural life clash head on when a new movie is set to premiere at the tiny Regal cinema in Bottledale. Comedy and intrigue ensues, as our intrepid heroines The Regalettes suddenly find themselves at the heart of a very silly mystery.

Written by Kate Bramley, and with music by Sony award winning Jez Lowe, expect Badapple Theatre’s signature style of original comedy, with a fusion of film, music, and clowning.

This performance uses the Difference Engine – In-App Captioning for D/deaf & hard of hearing audiences.
